I am a scientist with a passion for reinforcement learning and goal-oriented dialogue systems. My academic journey began at the University of Athens, where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees with honours in Informatics & Telecommunications. In 2012, I completed my PhD in Computer Science at Cornell University. My work focuses on building intelligent systems that can learn and adapt — often surpassing traditional algorithmic approaches. I believe in the power of machine learning to tackle complex problems and transform the way we interact with technology.
With over a decade of experience in artificial intelligence, my primary expertise lies in reinforcement learning, goal-driven dialogue systems, and applied machine learning. I have a deep understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of building adaptive models that learn from interaction and feedback. My background in computer science, coupled with hands-on research, allows me to develop scalable, data-efficient solutions that push the boundaries of what AI can achieve in natural language processing and decision-making environments.
